so it really depends on what kind of family you have. if you have a joking family come out while you’re telling a joke or something because then it would be a laugh while being something serious because someone is going to ask if you’re serious and all you have to do is say yeah it’s that simple. I know it’s easier said then done. If you have a serious family then you should sit them down and be straight forward with it. Tell them that you’re still the same kid you were before that you just like the same sex. It’s not changing who you are at all. Let them know that who you love doesn’t defy who you are at all.
